Harbor Springs History Museum (Mich.) Scans and CDs of Photographic collection, 2011.

Collection consists of CDs and prints of scanned postcards and photographs from the Society. The collection is organized by the Society's accession numbers, 1990-2011, and consists of images of people, animals, and buildings, mostly in Harbor Springs, Mich., and the surrounding area, including Little Traverse Bay, Petoskey, Lapeer, and Mancelona. Images include lighthouses, hotels, the Indian school at Harbor Springs, churches, train station, steamers, beach and scenic scenes, birds-eye-views, and Albion College buildings, 1877, 1985, mostly undated, in Box 1 (.5 cubic ft.). Box 2 consists of seven CDs, six of which are user copies of the scanned images, and one CD is the inventory spreadsheet. The original photographs and postcards are housed at the Harbor Springs History Museum, not at the Clarke Historical Library. The originals were scanned by the Clarke in 2011 and returned to Museum as per a 2011 agreement with the Clarke. Also, as per the agreement, "the Clarke Library retains the right to make copies of the scans or prints made.from the scans available to researchers for their personal use. All scans or pictures... must be attributed to the Harbor Springs Historical Museum. All requests for publication or other public use, other than by the Clarke itself, will be directed to the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society, which retains authority over such projects."
